The location was perfect, nestled in a beautiful setting. The cabin itself was immaculate and well-designed, with all the necessary amenities. Viv, our host, went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful visit, always available to help and accommodate our needs. Despite a minor inconvenience with the smoke alarm, which was not the owner's fault, we still thoroughly enjoyed our time. I highly recommend this hotel for a blissful and peaceful getaway.

We had such a fantastic stay at The Leat At The Old Mill! The location was serene and peaceful, and finding it was a breeze thanks to the great directions provided by the hosts. The apartment was immaculate and comfortable, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. Viv, our host, greeted us warmly and even gave us a tour of the beautiful gardens, including the cozy shepherd's hut where we could unwind with a good book surrounded by nature. The attention to detail and the warm hospitality made our stay truly special. We will definitely be returning when we're in the area again. Thank you, Viv!
If I had to mention one small thing, it would be that an extra pillow on the bed would have been nice.

I recently stayed at The Leat At The Old Mill and had an amazing time. The property itself is tucked away in a remote location, which made it even more special. The Annex was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Viv, the host, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the area. It was only a short drive into Tavistock if I wanted to explore the town. I would definitely stay there again.
On a specific note, I had a minor issue with the smoke/CO alarm going off during my second night. Although it was unfortunate, it wasn't the owner's fault.

Such a beautiful quiet location, perfect for a peaceful getaway. The apartment was spotless and comfortable, with some lovely little touches. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts and given refreshments on arrival. The property is surrounded by nature, with a lovely garden and a private shepherd's hut to relax in. The hosts were knowledgeable about the local area and gave great recommendations for pubs and places to visit.
The property is quite remote and accessed via a single track road, which may be difficult for some guests. It is a 10 minute drive to the nearest town, Tavistock, if you want to go into town for shopping or dining options.
